a unique resort

Čapí hnízdo is a unique resort offering prestigious venues for conferences, meetings and corporate or social events, as well as a well-deserved break in beautiful natural surroundings.
The transformation of Dvůr Semtín into the Čapí hnízdo resort

Stork’s Nest is situated in the area of what is now
the defunct village of Kačerova Lhota.

However, following a decree issued by the local authorities at the time, a manor known as Nový Dvůr Semtín was established here once again, to which some land from the settlements of Semtín and Semtínek was also added. In total, Dvůr Semtín comprised 136 hectares. The estate’s original agricultural activities were supplemented by a distillery established in 1875. However, the locals did not enjoy this prosperity for long. The twentieth century was not conducive to development. Over time, the estate began to fall into disrepair and, by the turn of the millennium, was no longer in use at all.
